First Attempt: About Me

👋🏾 A little bit about me

I am a curious, humble, and a dedicated designer originally from Norfolk, Virginia. Design is more than a career for me. Its a lifestyle. I stay curious, and enjoy learning something new. I probably have 3 potential ideas for apps in my head right now. Spending a day with me would consists of: -Listening to design podcasts -hopping on Figma completing some design work -cooking (probably consisting of Kale and chickpeas) -Going to the gym -Making music on FL Studio

Why I love design 🎨

Since I was a kid, I loved technology and art. It wasn't until the end of my junior year of college that I found out these two disciplines could coexist inside the world of UX. I love being able to think analytically, creatively, and collaborate with others. I enjoy being constantly encouraged to think differently and outside the box to come up with solutions that blend creativity with intention and purpose.

🫨 Fun facts

• I was a competitive swimmer from age 8 until the end of my senior in high school • I don't watch Netflix. Instead, I make music in my free time • During my junior year of college, I traveled to Guatemala to study the cloud forest ecosystem. I also spent two days living with the indigenous Q’eqchi Mayans, immersing myself in their culture
